Skittle Alley Strummers (SAS) was formed in February 2015 to provide relaxed get togethers for ukulele players in the Wimborne area.

Most of the initial SAS members attended Robin Walter's weekly ukulele lessons held on Monday evenings at The Church House which is adjacent to Wimborne Minster.

The majority of our sessions are communal playing and singing. Interspersed with this we have 'open mic' spots when soloists, duos, trios or whatever can 'do their own thing' - always entertaining whatever the ability!

Important Information: The venue we play in is ideal for our requirements but is not huge. With this in mind, please register your interest in attending by emailing: skittlealleystrummers@gmail.com. Your name will then be added to our email list which will ensure you are kept informed of meeting dates etc., and also ensure that we do not have a situation where too many attend making it uncomfortable for us all.

To cover the cost of hiring the venue and other incidental costs, we have a modest subscription scheme. Please contact us for details if you are considering joining us.
